2025 Event

The 2025 Bronc Match was the feature event on Saturday night of the World Famous, Warwick Rodeo, in Warwick Queensland. It was a resounding success thanks to the support of the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society.

A special mention must go to the Warwick Show Society Team for helping facilitate this event, without their assistance the 2025 event would not have gone ahead.

RESULTS

24 elite cowboys were broken up into four sections of six riders, with the top two athletes advancing to an eight man Short Round.

Champion, Brody Wells, multiple time NFR Qualifier, took out top spot with an 89.5 aboard Gill Bros Whiskey Boy for $20,000 in Prize money and a hand crafted Australian Fender saddle by Troy Welsh. Whilst the trophy saddle wasn’t staying in Australia for another consecutive year, President, Jake Finlay said it was just as good for an American to take home the win and further promote the event in the states.

Half a point behind was Australia’s own Darcy Radel, from Injune QLD. Darcy rode Gill Bros, Charlie Brown for 89 points and cashed in $10,000! We have it on record the money was going to be used to buy a new Capri Camper to support his rodeo endeavours back in the USA. This is what our event is all about.

Splitting third was multiple NFR qualifier and Committee man Damian Brennan (Aus), and James Perrin (CAD).
